| One of the newest additions to Highbridge is the West Bronx Recreation Center, a 2,875 square foot complex owned by the New York City Parks Department. Highbridge staff operate the building to provide educational and recreation programs for youth, seniors, families and community members. |

| Inside the building are a dance studio, computer room, two bathrooms, a state-of-the-art gymnasium with three regulation basketball courts, two volleyball courts and numerous meeting rooms. A 1-½ acre baseball field is behind the center. The Rec Center is handicap accessible. |
